Potluck Yarns are unique, dyed in Cherry Tree Hill's wonderful "luck of
the dyepot" method. Although 6 hanks of yarn are dyed together, they are
not identical. Sometimes one or more may appear to be quite different, in
fact. In order to get the best spread of color, it may be necessary to
alternate balls, especially when knitting matching sleeves, for example. Other times, it is most fun to let the yarn speak for
itself--this works wonderfully when concentrating color, as in entrelac or
intarsia or knitting felted items which pull color as they felt. No two
potluck sixpacks are ever alike, so please be sure you have enough yarn for your project as single hanks are not available and sixpacks cannot be
matched.
